Hi, I’m Kieren, a 26-year-old from Wales (now living in Manchester) with a love of exploring new places and making new friends along the way.

A Brief History

In the summer of 2015, I took my first interrail trip through Europe and have loved to travel ever since. I spent the following 3 years using all my annual leave to travel in Europe and America including a US West Coast road trip, a train journey through Italy and short breaks all across Europe.

In March 2019 I quit my job to go solo backpacking across South East Asia and haven’t looked back. I have a huge bucket list; I hope to visit every continent before I’m 30 and eventually to experience every country.

My Travel Style

For me, travel is as much about the people you meet along the way as the places themselves. Even though I enjoy travelling solo, I love to get to know local people and culture as well as meeting other like minded travellers to share experiences with.

As a budget backpacker I usually stay in hostels and find ways to save money wherever possible. I try to be as environmentally sustainable where possible, something that has become hugely apparent since travelling in Asia.

The Blog

I set up this blog because I love to write about my experiences and hope to share any tips and recommendations with other travellers. Reading blogs has been hugely helpful for me during my adventures so I hope that I can return the favour to others.
