There is so much to see in Barcelona that even after a second visit I’ve still not managed to see everything on my list. But one place I have managed to visit on both occasions is Park Güell.

Whilst sharing my plans for a week in Italy with fellow hostelers over a few (a lot of) beers in Rome, It was suggested that I spend less time in the cities and get out to some of the coastline towns such as the Cinque Terre – I’m pleased I took the advice.
Being from Wales myself, I can safely say that we are eclectic people, and these alternative options for accommodation back up that claim well!
I can recommend a California road trip on everyones bucket list – the scenic drive down the infamous Pacific Coast Highway from San Francisco to San Diego is one trip I will not forget. (more…)
